Forget everything you have heard about ATVs. The XP line of Polaris will change the ATV industry. The 850 has enough low end power to gently maneuver over rocks, then power you down the long straight-aways. The ride is very smooth. The power steering gives no feedback when you run across anything, at any angle. This is my second ATV. I still have a 2005 700 from another manufacturer. Everyone told me I need to ride a solid axel ATV to see just how rough they were. After riding one I knew why the IRS quad was so popular. Now the power steering is as big of an improvement as the IRS was to ATVs. After riding the XP for about one hour, I jumped back on my ‘05 and it was very hard to steer. It was night and day different. The XP should be the ATV of the year for 2009 hands down.
