I purchased my Outlaw in Feb of 2006. I just had to have one. When I first saw it on the Polaris website in the fall of 05 I knew that it was going to be something special, and as I figured, it is. It has the same motor as the original Predator but was geared down for higher acceleration which loses a little on top end. Not that going 72-75 mph is slow or anything. The crown jewel of this wheeler though is the full Rear Pro IRS. The suspension on this quad is out of control. It soaks up everything I have thrown at it. If you are someone who loves to rocket on the track but does most of your riding on trails, then is the quad for you. This is the greatest machine I have ever ridden on the trails. Also because of the huge ground clearance and powerful motor keeping up with the big utility wheelers is easy too. As long as you pick a good line in the mud pit and know how to use your body, you will have just as much fun or more with this quad. So far I have only found a couple of things I don't like. It is very uncomfortable. If you go out for a day ride with the old timers, your butt will hurt, bad. Also the where the seat attaches to the gas tank is very weak and should be reinforced with a washer or fabricated out of some aluminum or sheet metal. Other than that, it is awesome.
Upgrades/Accessories: Front and rear Polaris bumpers, tach/hour meter, PowerMadd hand guards.
Would like to see some aftermarket exhaust systems soon. The Polaris one is way overpriced and doesn't even increase performance that much.
