If you're looking for a sled that is a joy to ride in ALL conditions, then I say buy a Switchback. As trailboss for our club, I'm the first one out and that is when this sled is most at home! Show me an unbroken trail with a fresh 2 feet of powder anytime with this, never once got it stuck!! The length can make it tight on the trail sometimes, but is a great handling sled once you get it set-up. I won't buy the 800, the 600 is all you need. Got an even 10 miles a gallon this year while putting on only 1500 miles (bad snow year). Usually average 2500-3000 miles a year as the NY State main trail goes right by my house. Think nothing of leaving early and riding 200-400 miles on a Saturday.
