This is my first Ski-Doo. I've put on about 800 miles so far this winter. The sled has been awesome for the most part.
The sled ripped right from the beginning. I thought that the chip installed in it would somewhat retard the speed, but I never really noticed any difference after 300 miles or so. Maybe a few more MPH top end, but that's about it. It has awesome acceleration through low, mid and high. My best friend has a 900 Polaris Fusion and my Ski-Doo wastes him out of the whole, mid, and is pretty close top end. The Fusion might be 3-4 MPH faster top end, but that's not much considering the extra 80 or so CC and HP. And unless there's a straight away that's nearly a mile long, he can't catch me; and on some instances we both have to the bar and he can't catch me top end.
My only complaint is that it isn't as stable as I'd like when cornering. It has a tendency to feel very tipsy laterally. You really have to be consciencious about keeping your weight forward to put as much extra weight on the skis as possible.
The only other negative aspect is that it does burn a lot of oil... and that stuff isn't cheap.
Overall, I'd give it about a 92 out of 100. I'd subtract about 5 for the handling through corners, and a few for the gauges. They could be improved by increasing size and details. The Fusion has excellent gauges, so Ski-Doo is behind in that aspect.
But overall, it has been awesome and I would suggest it to anyone looking to ride a Ski-Doo.
