Mine has 196 studs and will easily lift the front end off the ground on hard packed snow/ice. I added v-force reeds which gave it quite a bit more power throughout the entire rpm range. I have a 4" handlebar riser kit installed which makes it easy to progress from sitting to standing.
Good looks,comfortable, reliable,POWERFUL!, What more could you want! I'm so impressed with my 2001 800 that I could hardly imagine what the new 800s must be like.
