2004 marked the seventh annual Field & Stream “Best of the Best Awards”. A seven-man panel of expert sportsmen and gear fanatics spent one year testing hundreds of outdoor products. The panel chose 18 products, the best of the best, they felt exemplified smart designs, fair prices and performance that outmatched anything else they tested.

The new 800 twin engine with electronic fuel injection (EFI) delivers stunning torque, acceleration and cruising power. The EFI ensures easy starting in all conditions and it automatically adjusts to changes in elevation. The independent rear suspension creates the smoothest ride along with redesigned floorboards for better drainage and splash protection; the grille and racks are made of a virtually unbreakable new composite material; the front and rear storage compartments are dust and water tight; and the 800 features the new Lock n’ Ride accessory system with quick attach storage boxes, windshields and gun scabbards to name a few.
